Daryl Peach in grudge match !
Looks like a grudge match is on the cards for Daryl with Roberto Gomez who was the runner in the between 2007 World Pool 9-Ball champion Darryl Peach and runner-up is set to happen soon. Also slated is the RP vs. The Rest of the World in December and, possibly, the Efren “Bata” Reyes Cup at the start of 2010 where a total prize of $500,000 will be at stake.
“These are all great matches that shouldn’t be missed by Filipino billiards fans,” said billiards patron Perry Mariano Tuesday in the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum at Shakey’s United Nations Avenue.
“Gustung-gustong makabawi ni Dennis kay Yang,” said Mariano, during the forum supported by Outlast Battery, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., Accel and Shakey’s.
Yang, a former Asian Games gold medalist, defeated Orcollo in their race-to-60 challenge at the Gateway Mall two years ago.
